    FCS(SA) Primary Examination

    First stage examination. Requires post-internship qualification registered with the HPCSA or any other medical council. Covers basic sciences and foundational knowledge.

    Final Fellowship examination. Requires 36 months in a numbered registrar training post plus portfolio submission. Uses EBEL/ANGOFF method of standard setting for pass marks. On successful completion, candidates receive the Fellowship of the College of Plastic Surgeons of South Africa (FC Plast Surg(SA)).
