General

Lorraine Learn is a specialist exam preparation platform built for South African registrars sitting CMSA fellowship examinations. It combines a large practice question bank, adaptive study paths, spaced-repetition flashcards and OSCE simulations in one place.

Lorraine Learn covers 100+ CMSA tracks, including FC Paed(SA), FCS(SA), FC Path(SA) and FC Anaes(SA). New tracks are added as the specialists writing them finish. Pharmacy and SANC nursing tracks are included at the same price.

Our questions and study paths are written and reviewed against the current CMSA examination standards and syllabi, by specialists who have sat those examinations themselves. Lorraine is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa.

Features & Content

Lorraine Learn tracks your performance on every topic and schedules reviews using spaced repetition, so revision lands at the interval where it does the most for retention and weighting shifts toward the areas you are getting wrong.

Yes. The mobile app supports offline study. Download content while you have a connection, revise anywhere, and your progress syncs when you are back online.

New questions and study material ship most weeks. Larger updates follow changes to the examinations themselves, and are listed on our changelog.

OSCE simulations are interactive clinical stations that rehearse the practical component of your examination — a realistic case, an examiner persona, and rubric-based feedback on your performance.
